Fulham is reportedly interested in acquiring Arsenal forward Reiss Nelson as the transfer window approaches its deadline.

This move comes on the heels of Fulham’s recent signing of Emile Smith Rowe from Arsenal, a deal finalized for an initial fee of £27 million. Smith Rowe has already made an impact at Fulham, scoring his first goal in a Premier League match against Leicester City.

In addition to Smith Rowe, Fulham has strengthened its squad with several quality signings this summer, including Ryan Sessegnon, Sander Berge, and Joachim Andersen. These acquisitions are in response to key player departures, including Joao Palhinha, Tosin Adarabioyo, and Willian.

With the summer transfer deadline looming, Fulham is keen on bolstering its attacking options, particularly in the winger position. Sources indicate that the club is looking closely at Reiss Nelson, who has found limited playing time under Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.

Nelson’s future at Arsenal has been a topic of speculation for several months, with earlier links to West Ham and Leicester failing to materialize. Despite Arsenal’s willingness to entertain offers, Nelson remains with the club as the transfer deadline approaches.

Having made 90 appearances for Arsenal since his debut in 2017 and contributing eight goals and nine assists, Nelson’s opportunities have been limited, with just 35 starts. At present, Arsenal is reportedly seeking at least £20 million, including add-ons, for the young forward, whose contract extends to 2027.
