Renowned Filmmaker Sangeeth Sivan Passes Away at 61
Renowned filmmaker from Kerala, Sangeeth Sivan, passed away at the age of 61 on May 8 while receiving treatment in a private hospital in Mumbai.
Having contributed notable films like ‘Yodha,’ ‘Daddy,’ and ‘Gandharvam,’ Sivan’s legacy extended to Hindi cinema with films such as ‘Kya Kool Hai Hum’ and ‘Apna Sapna Money Money.’
Bollywood actor Ritesh Deshmukh took to social media to express his deep sadness at the news, and condolences poured in from various figures in the entertainment industry.
Sangeeth Sivan made his directorial debut with the film ‘Vyuham’ in 1990, receiving accolades for his work over the years.
His last project, a horror comedy titled ‘Kapkapiii,’ had a star-studded cast including Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor, produced by Jayesh Patel under the banner of Bravo Entertainment.
