Richmond Spiders Women's Basketball Game Robins Center

RICHMOND, Va. – Due to ongoing water restoration efforts in the Richmond area, fans will not be permitted to attend the University of Richmond women’s basketball game against George Mason on Wednesday evening, Richmond Athletics announced. The game, scheduled for 6 PM at the Robins Center, will proceed with only essential personnel, team staff, and pre-approved media in attendance.

The decision comes as the city continues to address water infrastructure issues that have impacted multiple areas. Richmond Athletics emphasized that the safety and well-being of the community remain the top priority. Fans are encouraged to follow the game remotely through live streaming options available on RichmondSpiders.com.

“We regret the inconvenience this may cause our loyal fans, but we appreciate their understanding as we navigate these circumstances,” said a spokesperson for Richmond Athletics. Tickets for Wednesday’s game will be honored at any remaining women’s basketball home game this season. Fans seeking additional options can contact the Richmond Athletics Ticket Office at 1-877-SPIDER1.

The Spiders, currently competing in the Atlantic 10 Conference, face a challenging matchup against George Mason. The game will be broadcast live, allowing fans to support the team from home.
