Robin Propper Set to Join Rangers

There are exciting developments happening at Rangers as they are reportedly on the verge of signing Robin Propper, the captain of FC Twente. The 30-year-old defender is believed to be traveling to Scotland to finalize the move to Ibrox.

According to reports, Propper is slated to undergo a medical test on Wednesday, and if all goes well, the transfer will soon be official. This move comes after Rangers lost their key defender, Connor Goldson, who has left the club to join Aris Limassol.

Propper, who has made over 100 appearances for Twente over the past three years, contributed significantly last season by playing 39 matches and scoring 11 goals. His experience as a right-sided defender makes him a suitable replacement for Goldson, who was known for his solid defensive skills.

The transfer fee for Propper is yet to be disclosed, but it is expected to be around £2.7 million. Rangers are keen to strengthen their squad as they prepare for the Champions League third qualifying round, where they are set to face Red Bull Salzburg.

Propper has been linked with a move to PSV as well, but it appears that Rangers are poised to secure his services first. As he makes his way to Glasgow, fans are hopeful about what his addition will mean for the team’s defense.
