HOUSTON — Jalen Green scored 28 points as the Houston Rockets defeated the Chicago Bulls 117-114 on Saturday night, extending their winning streak to six games.
The Rockets claimed their victory with a pivotal moment in the fourth quarter when Green hit a crucial 3-pointer, giving Houston a 100-98 lead with 5 minutes and 52 seconds remaining. Following the shot, he contributed a layup, ensuring the Bulls could not regain the lead.
Coby White led Chicago with 23 points, while Tre Jones added 19 in a losing effort that snapped the Bulls’ four-game winning streak. Chicago currently sits in 10th place in the Eastern Conference, one game behind the Miami Heat and four games ahead of the Toronto Raptors, with 15 matches remaining in the season.

The Rockets dominated the boards, outrebounding the Bulls 54-36. Coach Billy Donovan‘s squad struggled without key player Lonzo Ball, who missed his seventh consecutive game due to a lingering wrist injury.
“The intention that he’s doing right now is just trying to get himself back to playing,” Donovan said regarding Ball’s situation. “It’s just when he feels that he can do things on the court that he’s comfortable with.”
Despite the loss, the Bulls have the opportunity to regroup quickly as they ready for their next matchup against the Utah Jazz on Monday. The Rockets will also return to action on the same day, hosting the Philadelphia 76ers.
This game highlighted the importance of teamwork and consistent performances as both teams look to solidify their playoff positions heading into the final stretch of the season.
