Ryan Kent, the former Liverpool player, is on the verge of leaving Fenerbahce, the Turkish football club, as Jose Mourinho takes charge of the team.

Kent, who moved from Rangers to Fenerbahce last year, has had a challenging time in the Super Lig under Ismail Kartal‘s management.

With only nine starts to his name last season, Kent quickly found himself sidelined and excluded from the first-team picture.

Despite hopes of a revival under Mourinho’s tenure, reports suggest Kent, along with other players such as Luan Peres, Rade Krunic, Miha Zajc, Miguel Crespo, and Joao Pedro, are set to be released from Fenerbahce.

Mourinho intends to reduce the foreign player quota in the squad from 15 to 9, leading to the impending departures.

Names like Dominik Livakovic, Dusan Tadic, and Edin Dzeko are highlighted as key foreign players in Fenerbahce’s roster.

While speculation hints at a potential return to Rangers for Kent, the player is currently included in the pre-season camp in Austria with Fenerbahce.
