Saints Sign Six 2025 NFL Draft Picks to Rookie Contracts

New Orleans, LA – The New Orleans Saints announced today that they have signed six of their nine 2025 NFL Draft picks to four-year rookie contracts. The signings come just before the team’s rookie minicamp.
The Saints’ first-round selection, Kelvin Banks Jr., a tackle from the University of Texas, leads the group. Banks was picked ninth overall and has a notable college career, having been a unanimous first team All-American and the winner of both the Lombardi and Outland Trophies in 2024.
Joining Banks are linebacker Danny Stutsman, cornerback Quincy Riley, running back Devin Neal, tight end Moliki Matavao, and edge rusher Fadil Diggs. Stutsman was New Orleans’ first fourth-round pick, chosen 112th overall, following a strong college career at Oklahoma.
Riley, also a fourth-round selection at 131st overall, played his final college season at Louisville with impressive stats, including 33 tackles and two interceptions. Neal was selected in the sixth round and is recognized as Kansas‘ all-time leader in rushing touchdowns and yards.
Matavao, a tight end chosen in the seventh round, made a significant impact at UCLA, leading the team in receptions in 2024. Diggs, also a seventh-round draft pick, transitioned from Texas A&M to Syracuse, becoming an honorable mention All-ACC selection in his final season.
Only three draft picks remain unsigned: quarterback Tyler Shough, defensive tackle Vernon Broughton, and safety Jonas Sanker, who were all selected in the second and third rounds. The Saints will seek to finalize these contracts soon, as negotiations for second-round picks often take more time.
