FC Samartex Leads Ghana Premier League After First Round

FC Samartex has emerged as the frontrunner in the Ghana Premier League after the conclusion of the first round of the 2023/24 season. The Timber giants have shown remarkable form and determination, securing 32 points to claim the top spot.

Aduana FC, a close contender, finished the first round just two points behind FC Samartex. Asante Kotoko SC and Nations FC also put up commendable performances, securing their positions in the top four of the league table.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has devised a plan to reward the top ten teams at the end of the season, and the likes of Nsoatreman FC, Berekum Chelsea FC, Bechem United FC, Medeama SC, Legon Cities, and Dreams FC have all positioned themselves well within the top ten bracket.

On the other hand, Karela FC, Real Tamale United FC, and Heart of Lions FC had a challenging start to the season, finding themselves at the bottom of the league table after the first round.

As the first round approached its conclusion, FC Samartex showcased excellent teamwork, skill, and determination, proving themselves as strong title contenders. Their consistent form has impressed both fans and pundits, raising hopes for an exciting second round of the Ghana Premier League.
