Samyuktha Menon to Star in New Telugu Thriller Directed by Yogesh KMC

Actress Samyuktha Menon, widely recognized for her role in ‘Vaathi’, has signed on for an upcoming Telugu film. This new-age thriller, temporarily titled ‘Production no. 6’, is spearheaded by director Yogesh KMC and produced by renowned actor Rana Daggubati.

The film’s launch took place on Wednesday with a traditional puja ceremony, marking the beginning of what is anticipated to be a captivating female-centric narrative. Samyuktha expressed her enthusiasm for the project, despite a hectic schedule that initially left her with little time to engage with the script. “The fact that this film is happening is a miracle,” said Samyuktha, commending Yogesh’s detailed storytelling and scene curation.

Rana Daggubati is involved in producing the film through his production house, Hasya Movies, in collaboration with Maganti Pictures. Art director Brahma Kadali and editor Chota K Prasad are key additions to the movie’s technical team. The film was ceremoniously launched during the auspicious occasion of Navratri, adding to the anticipation surrounding its release.

Speaking on the film’s female-centric theme, Samyuktha noted, “I like the term ‘women-centric’. Whenever we get a women-centric subject, it is either a thriller or related to empowerment. This script offers a normal story with a female lead, which impressed me greatly.”

Samyuktha Menon’s recent credits include performances in films such as ‘Kaduva’, ‘Kalki‘, and ‘Virupaksha’. She also appeared in ‘Devil: The British Secret Agent’, a historical spy film directed by Abhishek Nama and Naveen Medaram. Her collaborations with Rana Daggubati have previously included the film ‘Bheemla Nayak’.
