Sanna Marin Nightclub Celebration

HELSINKI, Finland — Sanna Marin, the former Prime Minister of Finland, enjoyed a lively night out at a nightclub in Helsinki after a busy day promoting her new book.

On Saturday, November 9, Marin held a press conference at the University of Helsinki, discussing her book titled “Toivo on tekoja.” Earlier in the day, she attended a women-focused business event named “Charlie goes to” at the Dance House Helsinki.

According to sources, Marin celebrated late into the night at H2O2 nightclub, accompanied by a large group of friends. The group included her ex-husband and a well-known hairstylist, as well as celebrities like Aapo Hettula, Joni Willberg, and the Mayor of Tampere and his fiancée, among others.

The group was reported to be in high spirits, dancing joyfully on the nightclub’s dance floor during the early hours of Sunday.

H2O2 is a new nightclub located in the Sörnäinen district of Helsinki, catering to sexual and gender minorities. The club has announced that it will operate until next spring and particularly attracts queer clientele.

Marin and her ex-husband, Markus Räikkönen, announced their divorce in spring 2023. Following the events of the day, Marin also hosted private book launch parties at Restaurant Pacifico x Tenho on Helsinginkatu. Attendees described the gathering as “pleasant, warm, and relaxed.”

One notable attendee included equestrian star Emma Björs, who characterized the event positively in correspondence.

Recently, Marin and Willberg have been spotted together infrequently. Their public appearances have diminished since summer, with speculation lingering about their relationship.

This celebration demonstrated Marin’s resilience as she navigates new chapters in her life after her tenure as Prime Minister.
