Seahawks, Cowboys Tie in Hard-Fought Game at AT&T Stadium

ARLINGTON, Texas — In a dramatic NFL matchup on Sunday night, the Seattle Seahawks faced off against the Dallas Cowboys, resulting in a rare tie that left both teams with more questions than answers. The game ended 20-20 after both teams exchanged field goals in overtime.
Seattle managed to execute a perfect drive in the last seconds of regulation, setting up a 52-yard field goal to tie the game at the end of the fourth quarter. The Seahawks’ win came just as Arizona was also battling for a close finish against the 20.
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott threw for 319 yards and three touchdowns throughout the matchup but expressed disappointment afterwards. Micah Parsons, a former Cowboy and now a Packers defender, shared his feelings about the game, noting, “I’m not even going to lie, I’m pissed off. I’m very disappointed, just overall how we performed.” He also acknowledged Prescott’s strong performance and thanked him for keeping the team competitive.
The Cowboys now hold a season record of 1-2-1, while the Seahawks improved slightly to 2-1-1. The unusual end to the game marked the first tie for the Cowboys since 1969.
Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy praised Prescott’s performance but admitted that injuries to key players have strained the team. The defense again failed to contain the Seahawks’ offensive strategies, leading to several key scores. “Every game counts, and we will have to make necessary adjustments moving forward,” stated McCarthy.
Looking ahead, the Cowboys will have to prepare for their upcoming games without their best defensive strength and reevaluate their offensive tactics. They remain optimistic as they chart their course for the rest of the season.
“We need to figure some things out at this time of the season to make sure our performance reflects our goals,” Prescott said during the post-game conference.
