Following the immense success of the romantic comedy film ‘Premalu,’ a sequel has been officially announced by the production company.

The original movie, directed by Gireesh AD, featured Naslen K Gaffoor, Mathew Thomas, and Mamitha Baiju in lead roles and received widespread acclaim upon its release in Malayalam in February. The Telugu version was well-received by audiences, with SS Karthikeya making his mark as the producer.

The upcoming sequel is set to release in 2025, continuing the story of the beloved characters across Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam languages simultaneously. Posters teasing this development have already been unveiled.

While the full details of the sequel are yet to be revealed, the production company has hinted at bringing new elements to the storyline, possibly taking the characters to the UK this time around. Will the sequel’s plot unfold in the UK, or will it return to the backdrop of Hyderabad, as the first part did, remains to be seen.

‘Premalu’ garnered significant box office collections and warm reception from audiences, with its blend of comedy and heartwarming elements. The decision to greenlight a sequel underscores the film’s popularity and the eagerness of fans for more.
