Shakhtar Donetsk Makes Bold Bid for Fenerbahçe’s İsmail Yüksek

İstanbul, Türkiye – Following the conclusion of the Trendyol Süper Lig season, Fenerbahçe has begun its transfer activities, but the future of İsmail Yüksek remains uncertain.

The national player, who has primarily played from the bench this season, is being monitored by several European teams, including Shakhtar Donetsk from Ukraine.

Shakhtar Donetsk, led by new head coach Arda Turan, is interested in securing İsmail Yüksek’s services. According to Hürriyet newspaper, the club has made an offer ten times Yüksek’s current salary of 400,000 euros, proposing a transfer fee of 4 million euros.

While reports indicate that Yüksek is not actively seeking to leave Fenerbahçe, he is concerned that he will remain a substitute if coach José Mourinho stays in his position, which could make a departure more appealing.

Furthermore, Yüksek is expected to evaluate other offers from Europe before considering Shakhtar Donetsk’s proposal.
