Shane Saralina Secures Loan Move to Milford FC
Shane Saralina, a talented defender, has successfully transferred on a season-long loan to Milford FC, a team competing in the Motsepe Foundation Championship. This move marks his third consecutive loan since joining the Orlando Pirates in July 2022 from the NB La Masia football club.
Saralina, known for his robust defensive skills, has yet to make an appearance for the Orlando Pirates’ first team. During his time with NB La Masia, he played a crucial role in helping the team avoid relegation in the 2022/2023 season. Unfortunately, he was unable to replicate this success as La Masia was demoted to the ABC Motsepe League alongside Platinum City Rovers at the conclusion of the 2023/2024 season.
Reports provided to the iDiski Times reveal that Saralina will play for Milford FC until June 2025. Milford FC, currently leading the Motsepe Foundation Championship table with seven points from three games, are managed by Mandla Qhogi, who previously coached the Orlando Pirates’ DStv Diski Challenge team.
This development comes as part of Saralina’s ongoing efforts to gain valuable playing experience and make his mark in the football world. With Milford FC currently performing strongly, this loan could provide the exposure and competitive environment needed for Saralina to advance his career.
