Grammy-winning artist Shania Twain, famously celebrated in song back in 1998 with her hit ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much,’ is once again making headlines.

Asked in 2023 who would make it into her lyrics these days, Twain remained tight-lipped.

However, it seems she’s shifted her gaze once more, as revealed in an interview with The Times of London.

Twain told the newspaper that former One Directioner-turned-solo star Harry Styles is ‘the new Elvis.’

Twain is set to make her debut on the Legends stage at the upcoming Festival, where she plans to perform her big hits, including ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman!’ – a song she considers deeply personal.

In her interview with The Times, Twain opened up about the emotional journey behind ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman!’ referencing her late blooming after enduring abuse from her step-father as a child.

Twain shared, ‘That song was me saying, I have waited too long to feel good about being a woman.’

She reflected on her struggles with insecurity and shyness, particularly related to her femininity.

Twain revealed, ‘For my whole teens, I never once went to the beach in a bathing suit.’

Despite her challenges, Twain expressed that writing the song was a turning point in embracing her identity and celebrating her curves.

As she prepares for her performance at the Festival, Twain’s fans eagerly anticipate her iconic hits and the emotional depth of her music.
