HOUSTON, Texas — The 2025 SheBelieves Cup, presented by Visa, commenced on February 20, featuring the world-renowned U.S. Women’s National Team as they host Japan, Australia, and Colombia. The tournament, set to run until February 26, returns to its traditional format with six games across three matchdays.

In its tenth year, the SheBelieves Cup includes a total points system to determine the champion, awarding three points for a win and one point for a draw. If teams are tied in points, the first tiebreaker will be overall goal difference, followed by the number of goals scored, head-to-head results, and Fair Play ranking if necessary.

The opening match on February 20 at Shell Energy Stadium features Japan against Australia at 5 p.m. ET, followed by the U.S. facing Colombia at 8 p.m. ET. Fans can watch the matches on TBS, Max, Universo, and Peacock. Spanish coverage is also available for all games.

Westwood One Sports will provide live radio coverage for the U.S. matches, ensuring that fans not near a television can still follow the action. Tickets for all matches are still available.

Sunday, February 23, marks another exciting day with Colombia playing Japan at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, at 2 p.m. ET, and the U.S. going up against Australia at 5 p.m. ET. The tournament concludes on February 26 at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, California, with Australia meeting Colombia and the U.S. taking on Japan in the final matchup of the tournament.

The U.S. Women’s National Team looks to secure their sixth consecutive SheBelieves Cup title, following an impressive opening win against Colombia. Head coach Emma Hayes emphasizes the importance of integrating both seasoned veterans and promising new talent into the lineup.

“Every tournament is an opportunity for development,” Hayes said. “We are excited to face diverse opponents that challenge our strategy and skill.”

Japan, ranked eighth in the FIFA World Rankings, aims to claim its first victory in the tournament. They showcased talent in their first game, trouncing Australia 4-0.

“We have prepared intensively for this tournament,” said Japan’s coach. “The U.S. is a formidable opponent, but we are ready to compete.”
