Serie A Player Transfers Valuation Updates 2025

ROME, ItalyTransfermarkt released its latest player valuation updates, revealing significant shifts among Serie A players on March 25, 2025. Notably, two players from Como saw their market values soar by €16 million and €15 million, respectively, highlighting their impressive performances this season.

On the downside, Serbian striker Dušan Vlahović experienced the steepest decline among players, dropping €15 million in value as he struggles to secure a consistent starting position at Juventus. In team valuations, Como led with a remarkable increase of €38.1 million, followed by Inter Milan with a rise of €34.5 million. Conversely, Juventus saw the largest decrease, with a drop of €46.5 million.

Among rising stars, six Serie A players increased their valuations by a total of €10 million. Leading the pack is the top tournament scorer with a growth to €45 million, as well as players from Bologna, Fiorentina, and Torino, each witnessing significant upward shifts.

Assane Diao, a 19-year-old forward acquired by Como from Real Betis for €12 million, has made an outstanding impact, scoring five goals in 11 appearances. Jatin Dietl, Transfermarkt’s Italy manager, provided insights on Diao’s recent international call-up for Senegal after representing Spain at the U-17 level. “Diao’s exceptional dribbling and decisive passing make him a player to watch,” said Dietl.

Fellow forward Nico Paz, also on the rise, remains part of the Argentine national team. He has improved significantly since the arrival of Diao and is drawing interest from clubs like Inter Milan. “Paz is rapidly becoming one of the most promising talents in Serie A,” added Dietl. “His growth has been exceptional during this season.”

Other players such as Milan’s fullback have seen their valuations increase, with a notable jump of €7 million to €15 million. Despite gains among some players, there are notable downgrades including Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz, whose value dipped to €38 million due to ongoing injury issues.

Both AC Milan and Juventus are facing further declines with significant losses among their top players. Vlahović’s continuous drop in market value is particularly concerning as his contract runs until 2026, prompting discussions on his future at the club. Dietl emphasizes, “Juventus needs to consider Vlahović’s market position carefully to ensure they can achieve the best selling price.”

The fluctuation of player values by Transfermarkt is determined through community assessments and discussion among members, rather than algorithmic calculations. These values serve as an estimation of a player’s worth in the market, reflecting changes in performance, potential, and current form.
