South Florida to Enjoy Cooler and Drier Weather This Weekend
Miami and the broader South Florida region are set to experience a welcome change in weather this weekend, marked by cooler and drier conditions. Following the coolest morning of the season so far, temperatures are expected to warm up into the lower 80s during the day on Saturday, under partly sunny skies[3].
According to CBS News Miami’s NEXT Weather Meteorologist Dave Warren, a breeze from the north will cool down the area on Saturday evening, bringing mild conditions into the overnight hours. Lows are anticipated to fall into the lower 70s along the coast and some areas inland could see temperatures dip into the 60s[2][6].
High pressure to the north will maintain mainly dry conditions through Tuesday, although temperatures and humidity are expected to gradually increase as the week begins. This warmup is a precursor to a stronger cold front that will move through the area on Wednesday, potentially bringing a line of rain and more significant cooling[3].
The cold front will clear out by Wednesday night, allowing cold and dry air to fill back into the region. By Thursday into the start of next weekend, highs are forecasted to only reach the middle 70s, with the possibility of the first 50-degree lows of the season across most of South Florida by Friday and Saturday morning[3].
