Spurs Eye Giannis and Durant as Offseason Possibilities

Fischer also noted whispers about San Antonio’s interest in Antetokounmpo, asserting that the Spurs would also reach out about Durant. “People in the league are already starting to whisper about San Antonio potentially being a spot to bring Durant this summer,” he said.

Adding elite players can be risky, as seen with the Phoenix Suns, who struggled to coalesce this season despite a talented roster. Nevertheless, a potential trio of Durant, Wembanyama, and Fox could create significant offensive prospects.

The Spurs’ challenge will be convincing Durant of their potential as a championship contender. With their cache of first-round picks, their trade package could attract attention from Phoenix should they choose to move Durant.
