2025 Sag Awards Red Carpet Fashion

Los Angeles, CA – The 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards dazzled with Hollywood’s finest, as stars like Zooey Deschanel, Cristin Milioti, and Molly Shannon showcased their style on the red carpet. The event, held Saturday night, attracted celebrities eager to celebrate their peers and their nominations.

Zooey Deschanel, known for her role in “New Girl,” arrived in a stunning black vintage Armani tuxedo dress, while her partner, Jonathan Scott, complemented her with a sleek white Tom Ford tuxedo. Deschanel shared a moment with her former co-star Max Greenfield while presenting an award. Reflecting on the momentum of their past collaboration, she noted, “There’s a reunion with the two of us tonight.” When asked about a potential creative reunion, Deschanel expressed openness, stating, “We don’t have anything planned, but I’m open to it.”

The couple also discussed their current favorite television series. “I’m loving ‘Slow Horses,’” Deschanel revealed, while Scott added, “I love ‘Severance,’ ‘Silo.’” In a nostalgic moment on how she earned her SAG card, Deschanel recalled, “I was in high school. I did an episode of a show called ‘Veronica’s Closet’ with Kirstie Alley.”

Another highlight of the evening was Cristin Milioti, who spoke with “Extra’s” Mona Kosar Abdi about the honor of her nomination for her role in “The Penguin.” “It’s really moving and very profound,” she said. Milioti expressed hope for the show’s continuation, stating, “No word yet, but I would love it.” Discussing the idea of a potential spin-off focused on her character, Sofia Falcone, she remarked, “That could go so many ways. I would love that. It would be great.”

Milioti also praised the creative team behind her character’s aesthetics, saying, “We had the most incredible hair and makeup team and wardrobe department… It was so much fun to get to build the look of a Batman villain.” She wore a custom Dior gown for the evening, sharing, “I feel like I’m in a movie from the ’30s.”

Sheryl Lee Ralph, the star of “Abbott Elementary,” caught attention in a black-and-white ensemble. Discussing her outfit, she credited her daughter, Ivy Coco, her stylist. “She just continues to have the vision. I honestly am very happy to say she got it from her mama,” Ralph stated. As for her pre-award rituals, Ralph highlighted the importance of skincare and hydration, saying, “I got an incredible facial… then you’ve got to drink that water to stay hydrated.”

Ralph also shared some behind-the-scenes moments of her current filming schedule, emphasizing the strong bond among her co-stars. “We appreciate what we’ve been given. We lean into the work it takes to do what we do, 22 episodes,” she said, expressing feelings of gratitude for her work at Warner Bros. studio in Los Angeles.

Molly Shannon stepped out in an alluring off-the-shoulder red dress and discussed her recent viral moment dancing with Bad Bunny during her appearance on “SNL50.” “They like that I got to dance with Bad Bunny,” she laughed, attributing her moves to the choreographer’s guidance. Shannon reminisced about her long-standing friendship with Adam Glassman, revealing details of her weekend before the SAG awards, including attending Paris Hilton’s party after the Independent Spirit Awards.

“I got home and I was like, ‘I’m exhausted,’” she said, laughing as she recalled her late-night snack. Shannon is part of the nominated ensemble for “Only Murders in the Building,” competing for Outstanding Performance in a Comedy Series.
