Miro Heiskanen Injury Dallas Stars Game

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Dallas Stars defenseman Miro Heiskanen suffered an injury during a collision with Vegas Golden Knights captain Mark Stone in Tuesday night’s game. The incident occurred midway through the third period when Stone was tripped by Stars forward Roope Hintz, causing him to slide hard into Heiskanen’s left leg.

Heiskanen, 25, was slow to get up and needed assistance to leave the ice, heading down the tunnel to the locker room. Stone received a tripping penalty for the play. The Stars have not yet provided an update on Heiskanen’s condition.

Heiskanen is a critical player for the Stars, leading the team in ice time with an average of 25:16 per game—nearly three minutes more than any other teammate. He is also expected to play a key role for Team Finland at the upcoming 4 Nations Face-Off tournament.

The injury comes at a crucial time for the Stars, who are in the midst of a competitive playoff push. Heiskanen’s absence could significantly impact the team’s defensive strategy and overall performance.
