Pittsburgh Steelers Pre Draft Visits 2025

PITTSBURGH, Pa. — With the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine now concluded, the Pittsburgh Steelers are shifting their focus toward pro days and pre-draft visits. Between March 4 and April 6, each NFL team can invite up to 30 prospects to their facilities for private assessments.

These engagements, commonly referred to as “top-30 visits,” are crucial as they allow teams to evaluate prospects physically and conduct interviews, although on-field workouts are not permitted at these visits.

In accordance with NFL regulations, teams may also conduct video or telephone interviews with draft-eligible players. Clubs are restricted to a maximum of three such interviews per player, with each lasting no longer than one hour.

In addition to the official visits, teams can meet with local players—defined as athletes from nearby colleges or high schools, without providing transportation. Historically, the Steelers have effectively utilized these visits to signal their interest in certain players.

Last year, the Steelers used their allotted visits to assess players such as first-round pick Troy Fautanu and undrafted free agent Beanie Bishop. Notably, only two of their draft selections, DB Ryan Watts and WR Roman Wilson, did not attend a top-30 visit.

As the 2025 draft approaches, here are the confirmed prospects visiting Pittsburgh:

**Tyler Shough, QB, Louisville** — A four-star recruit from Chandler, Arizona, the 6-foot-5 quarterback has had an eventful college career. Shough started at Oregon, where he had a breakout season in 2020 before transferring to Texas Tech and encountering injury woes. After moving to Louisville, he led the Cardinals to an 8-4 record, passing for 3,195 yards and 23 touchdowns in 2023.

**JJ Pegues, DT, Ole Miss** — Originally a tight end at Auburn, Pegues transitioned to the defensive line at Ole Miss, where he became a starting player. At 320 pounds, he demonstrates considerable athleticism, fitting well into the Steelers’ defensive scheme.

**Wyatt Milum, OT, West Virginia** — Milum switched from right tackle to left tackle in college, contributing to two strong rushing offenses at West Virginia. His size and experience could make him a viable option for Pittsburgh’s offensive line.

The Steelers are known for drafting talent from their pre-draft visit list, and with a need for depth in key positions, their scouting work will be heavily scrutinized in the coming weeks. Updates to the list of visitors will be provided as they develop, keeping fans informed.

As the pre-draft process unfolds, the Steelers will also track performances and decisions made during local pro days, which are expected to further influence their drafting strategy.
