Steph Curry Out for Playoffs, Dismisses Podcast Plans

San Francisco, CA — The Golden State Warriors‘ playoff hopes shattered when star guard Steph Curry suffered a hamstring injury in Game 1, sidelining him for the remainder of the series. This injury contributed to the team’s disappointing five-game series loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
As the Warriors move into the offseason, it’s evident that significant changes are necessary. However, not every aspect will be up for change, especially regarding Curry’s role. In a recent interview, he addressed the trend of professional athletes starting podcasts.
‘You won’t see me do it though,’ Curry said when asked if he plans to launch a podcast. ‘I got a lot of other things I wanna do… [Because] if you gonna do something you gotta be all in… It’s not something I’m passionate about.’
Despite his sister, Sydel Curry, hosting a podcast and teammate Draymond Green running his own, Curry remains uninterested in entering the podcasting realm. While a podcast led by him could draw millions in sponsorships, he prefers to dedicate his time to other pursuits, such as his love for golf.
Though Curry won’t be hosting a regular podcast, there may be opportunities for him to make guest appearances, potentially engaging in conversations with star players like LeBron James on platforms such as ‘Mind The Game‘. For now, fans looking for a Curry-driven podcast will have to wait.
