Steve Kerr Urges Warriors to Fight Back in Crucial Game 5

Dallas, Texas – Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has sent a strong message to his team ahead of their critical Game 5 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Warriors are on the brink of elimination, down 3-1 in the series and missing star guard Stephen Curry due to injury.
“We’re in a tough spot now being down 3-1, but we feel very strongly we can come out and get a win tomorrow,” Kerr said. “All it takes is one win, and the momentum of the series shifts.”
The Warriors are keen to push the series to Game 6, which would potentially see Curry return to action. Kerr emphasized that having Curry makes the team more dangerous, and he stressed the team’s ability to compete effectively without their star player.
The Warriors are determined to avoid a second-round exit, with Kerr noting, “If he’s in a place where he can play, I’m sure he will. But we don’t need him to try to be Superman. Gotta play the long game.”
Meanwhile, the NBA community has rallied around Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum, who recently underwent surgery for a ruptured Achilles. Tatum, who was in the midst of an impressive playoff run, scored 42 points before sustaining the injury. Curry and other players shared words of encouragement and support as Tatum navigates his recovery journey.
