NEW ORLEANS, La. — Super Bowl 59 is set to take place on Feb. 9 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, featuring a highly anticipated rematch between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. The game, scheduled to kick off at 6:30 p.m. ET, will be broadcast on Fox, marking the network’s turn in the NFL‘s rotational broadcasting agreement.

This year’s Super Bowl will not be available on CBS, Paramount+, or Nickelodeon, as Fox holds the exclusive broadcasting rights. The NFL’s 11-year media deal, signed in 2021, ensures that the Super Bowl alternates between Fox, CBS, NBC, and ABC/ESPN. Fans can watch the game on Fox through traditional cable, DirecTV Stream, Sling TV, YouTube TV, and Hulu with Live TV. However, the game will not be available on the Fox Sports App; instead, it will stream on Tubi, Fox’s free streaming service.

Halftime entertainment will be headlined by Grammy-winning artist SZA, adding star power to the event. Notably, this year’s Super Bowl will not feature a Nickelodeon broadcast, a fan-favorite alternative that has aired in recent years. Nickelodeon, a CBS affiliate, will not have broadcasting rights until 2028.

In addition to the game, Uber Eats has teased its Super Bowl commercial, featuring actor Matthew McConaughey in a Midwestern-inspired role. The 30-second ad, set to air during the game, showcases McConaughey channeling former Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka, complete with a thick mustache and Chicago accent. The commercial is part of Uber Eats’ ongoing campaign to blend humor with cultural references, following last year’s spot featuring Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer.

Super Bowl 59 promises to be a spectacle both on and off the field, with millions of viewers tuning in for the game, halftime show, and highly anticipated commercials.
