Super Eagles Remain Favorites Despite Increased Difficulty of AFCON Tournament

Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon, has acknowledged the increased difficulty of the current AFCON tournament compared to the previous edition in Cameroon two years ago.

Despite the challenges, Simon expressed confidence that the Super Eagles remain among the favorites to win the tournament.

In a statement, Moses Simon remarked, ‘I cannot say it’s going to be easy because there is another favorite team but we just need to stick together and concentrate on our training, work hard, and we’ll see how it will be.’

He emphasized the importance of unity within the team and continuous hard work to achieve their goal of clinching the Nations Cup.

Simon referenced the first game where the Super Eagles missed numerous chances, leading to a draw, highlighting the need for the team to be more clinical in front of goal.
