DENVER, Colorado – The penultimate round of the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season kicked off today at Empower Field at Mile High, with riders eager to make their mark. Chase Sexton, currently leading the 450SX standings, aims to maintain his position as the championship race heats up.

After winning last week, Sexton has a twelve-point lead, easing some of the pressure he felt in recent races. Meanwhile, Ken Roczen remains a challenging competitor, despite shoulder and ankle injuries that will require surgery. ‘I’m focused on finishing strong this season,’ said Sexton, reflecting on the upcoming challenges.

In the 250SX Class, Haiden Deegan leads the points race but faces pressure from Cole Davies, who is seventeen points behind. “Winning tonight could clinch the title for me if the conditions are right,” said Deegan, adding that he feels confident heading into the night’s main event.

Qualifying saw Julien Beaumer take the top spot with a time of 50.070 seconds, closely followed by Deegan at 50.366 seconds. “I’m just glad to be out there competing and feeling good on the bike,” Beaumer stated after his successful run.

The track setup at Empower Field presents unique challenges, featuring a long start straight and varying terrain that could test the riders’ skills throughout the evening. It’s expected to dry out under the warm 75-degree forecast, making conditions tricky as the sun sets over Denver.

As practice sessions concluded, riders prepared for the heats and main events, strategizing to maximize their performance on the challenging course. ‘It’s going to be interesting to see how the track evolves,’ noted Sexton as he looked forward to competing against the best in the sport.
