Superfan Escorted Out During Kings’ Loss to Suns
Sacramento, California — Devlin Carter, a dedicated Sacramento Kings fan, voiced his frustration during the team’s 112-100 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night.
Carter was captured on television while calling out the Kings’ lack of defensive effort from behind the bench at Golden 1 Center. Arena security escorted him out after his passionate remarks.
In a series of Instagram Stories, Carter confirmed his ejection, stating, “At least the Kings fans feel me.” In another post, he expressed his disappointment, saying, “We ain’t come here to watch y’all not play defense.”
The Kings have made a rough start this season with a record of 5-14, raising concerns about a third consecutive year of missing the playoffs. While Carter’s focus was on the defense, the team’s overall struggles also include offensive issues, ranking 28th and 24th in critical statistics, according to NBA.com.
Many Kings fans share Carter’s dissatisfaction with the team’s performance, indicating that the frustrations have reached a boiling point. The call for accountability is loud, as they demand better showings as the season progresses.
