Tama Tonga Wwe Parking Lot Attack

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Tama Tonga was injured in a vicious assault in a parking lot prior to a WWE event on April 18, 2025. The attack was carried out by LA Knight, who has been embroiled in a rivalry with Bloodline 2.0, the faction that includes Tonga, Solo Sikoa, and Jacob Fatu.

LA Knight, fresh off his victory for the WWE United States Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura, sought retribution for previous interferences by Bloodline 2.0 during his matches. Knight’s frustration culminated in the unprovoked assault on Tonga as he was preparing to enter the arena with Sikoa.

Witnesses reported that Knight ambushed Tonga from behind, throwing multiple punches before slamming a car door on his right hand. Sikoa quickly intervened, chasing Knight away, but the damage had already been done.

Tonga was later transported to a local medical facility for evaluation. Initial reports indicate that he may have sustained a minor injury but is expected to recover quickly. As of now, WWE has not released an official update on his condition.

“Tama has been an integral part of our team and it’s unfortunate to see him go through this,” Sikoa said in a statement following the incident. “We will ensure LA Knight pays for this cowardly act.”

With WrestleMania approaching, there is speculation regarding whether Tonga will be able to compete. Fans are eager to see if he will return to disrupt LA Knight’s match and assist Fatu, as he has in the past.
