Krause’s background in atmospheric science included participation in NASA’s Student Airborne Research Program and culminated with a Master of Science from Johns Hopkins University. Her journey led her to Washington, D.C., in 2020 through the Clean Energy Leadership Institute fellow program. Taylor, originally from San Diego, has publicly expressed that she seeks someone who appreciates her for her intellect as much as her appearance. In describing her family, Krause is particularly affectionate, referring to her parents as “the kindest people,” and sharing that her father is a home builder, and her mother, originally from Hong Kong, she charmingly describes as “an angel and a gangster.”
