STRASBOURG, France — Tension mounts in Season 37 of “The Amazing Race” as teams approach the finale after a thrilling Episode 10 that featured unique challenges and unexpected twists.
During the latest leg of the race, teams engaged in a water jousting challenge, pushing opponents into the river with lances as boats drew near. Han‘s impressive surfing helped her push brother-sister duo Carson and Jack to a first-place finish. Unfortunately for competitors Brett and Mark, they received a ten-minute penalty, leaving them trailing behind.
The episode took a turn with a cheese-eating challenge that left teams struggling. Josiah and Alyssa, faced with language barriers and unfamiliar flavors, considered using their Express Pass but ultimately delayed, watching other teams advance.
Amidst remaining competitive, tensions flared for Jonathan and his partner Ana. His frustration peaked during the cheese task, as he blamed Ana for delays and mistakes. Viewers online expressed sympathy for Ana, pointing out Jonathan’s unkind treatment.
As the teams raced to the Pit Stop at Table D’Orientation, Carson and Jack clinched the top spot, followed by Josiah and Alyssa, Jonathan and Ana, then Han and Holden. The leg ended on a somber note for Brett and Mark, who were eliminated from the competition.
