Texas A&M Baseball Game Postponed Due to Severe Weather

HOOVER, Ala. – Texas A&M’s opening round game against Mississippi State in the Southeastern Conference Tournament has been postponed to Wednesday morning due to predicted inclement weather. The game will now take place at 9:30 a.m. at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium.
The matchup will be broadcast live on SEC Network and available locally on SportsRadio 1150AM/93.7 The Zone. Fans can also follow the game updates on X.
If the Aggies win, they will face No. 8 Auburn on Thursday morning at 11 a.m. The Aggies, seeded 14th in the tournament, need a strong performance to secure a spot in the NCAA Tournament, having finished the conference season with 11 wins and an RPI ranking of No. 55.
Severe weather moved through Alabama Tuesday evening, triggering tornado warnings, according to KBTX meteorologist Kayleigh Thomas. The same cold front that brought drier air also generated storms in the area.
Mississippi State, who has a record of 34-20, enters the game riding a five-game winning streak. The Bulldogs have been competing without head coach Chris Lemonis, who was fired on April 28.
