Texas Rangers Partner with Fubo for 2025 Streaming Deal

ARLINGTON, Texas — The Texas Rangers have announced a streaming deal with Fubo TV to broadcast its live games for the upcoming 2025 season across five states: Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. This agreement will bring fans access to Rangers games, including pre- and postgame shows, through the newly launched Rangers Sports Network (RSN).
Rangers Sports Network was established in January 2025 as a replacement for the defunct Bally Sports Southwest, which recently emerged from bankruptcy. The goal of the new RSN is to directly connect with fans in its regional market by providing a platform for the team’s live broadcasts.
“Since the launch of Rangers Sports Network was announced in January, we have continued to work on additional agreements to provide options to watch our games,” said Neil Leibman, chairman of Rangers Sports Media and Entertainment Company, in a statement. “Fubo’s carriage of RSN gives fans another tremendous avenue to watch Rangers baseball this season. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with Fubo and hope that fans will take advantage of this new opportunity.”
Fubo will not only stream the Texas Rangers games but also make Rangers Sports Network available as a standalone subscription option. Fans can also include it in their Fubo Free or Latino plans. The platform, which already offers over 55,000 live events annually and operates in 35 regional sports markets, aims to enhance its branding at the Rangers’ Globe Life Field, providing fan engagement opportunities such as sweepstakes.
“Our carriage and sponsorship agreement means Fubo subscribers can watch Rangers baseball all season long, while engaging with the team through multiple fan opportunities,” commented Todd Mathers, Fubo’s Executive Vice President for content strategy and acquisition.
The Rangers’ new RSN initiative follows their previous loss of regional sports TV coverage due to financial struggles that left their former channel in disarray. In addition to their partnership with Fubo, the team has also entered an agreement with Victory+ to offer a separate live-streaming option for fans with a $100 season pass.
