Arlington Texas Supercross Motocross Race

ARLINGTON, Texas — The seventh round of the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross series took place Saturday night at AT&T Stadium, delivering a thrilling spectacle for fans and riders alike. Ken Roczen emerged victorious in the 450SX class, while Haiden Deegan dominated the 250SX West division, both showcasing remarkable skills in a highly competitive environment.

The evening was also marked by the excitement of a Triple Crown format, where riders competed in multiple races for overall podium placement. This event held significant stakes, as both Chase Sexton and Cooper Webb entered the round tied for the points lead in the 450SX class.

In the first 450SX race, Ken Roczen started behind early leader Justin Cooper but completed a decisive pass with just over a minute remaining. Roczen then maintained his lead through to the finish line, securing his first race victory of the night. Justin Cooper finished in second, with points leader Chase Sexton crossing the line in third place after losing ground to the leaders.

“It was a tough race, but I’m happy with the way it turned out,” Roczen said after his win. “I just kept pushing and found my opportunities.”

The 450SX Race 1 results were as follows:

  • 1. Ken Roczen (Suzuki) 16 Laps
  • 2. Justin Cooper (Yamaha) +1.053 seconds
  • 3. Chase Sexton (KTM) +9.362 seconds
  • 4. Justin Hill (KTM) +12.129 seconds
  • 5. Justin Barcia (GasGas) +13.012 seconds

In the first 250SX West race, Haiden Deegan fought his way back from an early fall to ultimately take the victory. After navigating a tough start, Deegan capitalized on a late-race crash by Jordon Smith, securing the lead and fighting off Coty Schock and Michael Mosiman for the podium.

“This win means a lot, especially after the tough start I had,” Deegan remarked. “I just focused on staying calm and making my way through the pack.”

The 250SX West Race 1 results were as follows:

  • 1. Haiden Deegan (Yamaha) 14 Laps
  • 2. Coty Schock (Yamaha) +2.324 seconds
  • 3. Michael Mosiman (Yamaha) +3.061 seconds
  • 4. Cole Davies (Yamaha) +3.203 seconds
  • 5. Jo Shimoda (Honda) +15.454 seconds

Each qualifying session set the stage for an intense night of racing. Justin Hill emerged as the fastest qualifier, logging a blistering time of 47.656 seconds in the 450SX class. Meanwhile, Cole Davies led the 250SX West class with an impressive 48.326 seconds during qualifying.

With such a competitive atmosphere, the stakes remained high for the upcoming races. The second round of the night provided additional drama as Webb and Sexton continue to vie for the top championship spot, while Deegan looks to build on his early success.

Fans can look forward to future events, including Arenacross in Daytona Beach on February 28 and another round of Supercross in Daytona on March 1. With multiple races still ahead, the championship race remains crystal clear: the battle for the lead is heating up as the season progresses.
