JACKSON COUNTY, Georgia — TikTok star Anna Grace Phelan passed away at the age of 19 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Her family confirmed her death on Saturday through a heartfelt message posted on her TikTok page.

“It is with great sadness to announce that our beautiful daughter, Anna Grace Phelan, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” the message read. “So many of you have followed her journey through a difficult battle with cancer and bore witness to her powerful testimony of faith.”

The post expressed gratitude for the prayers and support Anna received during her illness, concluding with, “May we all rejoice with the assurance that she is in Heaven now, and she has been healed.”

Phelan was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive and incurable form of brain cancer, shortly before starting her first year of college last September. In videos shared with her followers, Phelan explained that she suffered from various symptoms including numbness in her face and leg, balance issues, and vision problems.

After an MRI revealed a lesion on her brain, doctors confirmed her diagnosis following a biopsy. “This is definitely the hardest news I’ve ever received,” she said in a video. “Just going to trust in the Lord and try and keep pushing forward.”

She continued to document her journey on TikTok, providing updates on her health. In one of her last posts, shared on May 14, Phelan expressed concern over the growth of her tumor, stating, “Things haven’t been good. My tumor grew and it’s in the area where I can’t breathe. It can’t be operated.”

A GoFundMe page was created after her diagnosis, raising over $65,000 to support her medical expenses. Phelan is survived by her parents, William “Buddy” Phelan and Nadine Phelan, her brother Harper David Phelan, and other family members.

Phelan’s funeral service is set for Thursday at the Galilee Christian Church in Jackson County, with burial to follow at the church’s cemetery.
