Donald Trump In A Garbage Truck With Safety Vest

In a recent campaign event, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz took a jab at Donald Trump’s age following the former president’s unusual campaign stunt. Trump, who is nearly 80 years old, donned a bright orange safety vest and got into a garbage truck labeled with his campaign logo in an attempt to troll Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

Walz, speaking in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, criticized Trump’s actions, saying, “Look, this dude’s nearly 80 years old. He d*** near killed himself getting into a garbage truck.” This comment highlights the ongoing discussion about the age of the candidates, particularly in the context of the upcoming elections.

The garbage truck stunt was part of Trump’s broader campaign strategy, which included criticizing Biden’s response to a comedian’s remarks about Puerto Rico. Trump used the opportunity to label Biden’s supporters as “garbage,” although the White House later clarified that Biden meant to refer to the supporters of the comedian, not Trump’s supporters.

The age factor has been a recurring theme in Trump’s campaign, with many discussions focusing on his stamina and ability to serve at his advanced age. This issue has been particularly pertinent given that both Trump and his potential opponents are among the oldest candidates in U.S. presidential election history.
