Titans Nfl Draft Prospects 2025

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — As the NFL Draft approaches, the Tennessee Titans have paused their free agency activity, adding 10 new players so far this offseason. The key question now is how these acquisitions will influence their strategy in the upcoming draft, particularly with their first overall pick this year.

The Titans are widely expected to draft Miami quarterback Cam Ward, who has been identified as the consensus first pick across multiple analysts’ mock drafts. ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. and NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah both have Ward at the top of their boards, echoing the sentiment among experts that elite quarterback play is essential for success in the highly competitive AFC.

“Ward’s four-plus years of starting experience — from Incarnate Word to Washington State and now Miami — position him as a standout prospect. His playmaking abilities and resilience under pressure make him a strong candidate for the Titans,” Kiper noted.

Support for Ward is overwhelming among draft analysts, with him being the top choice in at least nine different mock drafts, including bids from the Chicago Tribune and CBS Sports. Ward’s strong arm and quick decision-making ability position him as the franchise quarterback Tennessee desperately seeks.

However, the Titans face pressure on other roster needs as well. Alongside quarterback, the Titans must consider their need for edge rushers and defensive backs. Penn State’s Abdul Carter and Colorado’s Travis Hunter are two players highlighted as valuable additions in early picks.

In addition to Ward’s stock, Shedeur Sanders from Colorado is gaining traction, often listed as the second-best QB available. Both Kiper and Jeremiah have identified Sanders’ potential as a viable replacement for the title of Titans quarterback should they opt to draft him instead.

“Sanders has demonstrated leadership and versatility, both in the pocket and on the run. He might not be the biggest, but his anticipation is impressive, and he has a knack for making others around him better,” Jeremiah stated.

As the drafts loom on April 24-26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, fan anticipation grows. The Titans will be carefully weighing their options, considering all the dynamics at play, including trades and potential moves from teams eager to acquire the top prospects.

The Titans, traditionally focused on building a strong defensive line to protect their quarterback, will also need to bolster their receiving corps, which remains a weak point from last season. With reports that they might consider trading back from the first overall pick, the Titans have significant decisions ahead that will shape their future.

As each analyst rolls out their predictions, Tennessee fans can expect a nail-biting decision-making process as their team looks to craft a competitive roster for the coming season.
