TNA Wrestling Confirms Signing of Free Agent Maggie Lee Amid Ongoing Changes

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — TNA Wrestling has officially confirmed the signing of highly sought-after free agent Maggie Lee, who had reportedly been under contract since December. The announcement followed a March 27 revelation on the Battleground podcast.
As one of the standout talents on the independent wrestling circuit, Lee frequently appeared on lists of top unsigned wrestlers. While wrestling fans and industry insiders speculated about her eventual signing, they were surprised to learn she had been part of TNA’s roster for months before the news broke.
According to sources, Lee’s contract was secured by former TNA executives Gail Kim and Ariel Sherner, who parted ways with the company earlier this week. The timing of the announcement coincides with TNA’s ongoing preparation for a busy weekend, including television tapings scheduled for March 28 and March 29 at the St. Joseph Civic Arena.
“Maggie is a phenomenal talent who has quickly gained recognition across the wrestling community,” said a TNA spokesperson. “We are excited to officially welcome her as part of the TNA family.”
As TNA continues to evolve, the addition of Lee is expected to bolster its women’s division, which has been a focal point for the promotion. The company is also set to host the annual TNA Under Siege 2025 event on May 23 in Brampton, Ontario, as part of its upcoming programming.
Fans can follow TNA’s developments, as other new content will be available on its streaming platform, TNA+. The platform now features curated selections, including dedicated carousels of favorite matches by TNA performers.
TNA Wrestling’s increasing focus on talent acquisition and developing original content demonstrates the promotion’s commitment to enhancing its offerings for fans. With Lee officially signed and finalized, expectations are high for her contributions as a key player in upcoming events.
