Tommy Carlucci Suggests Roman Reigns May Return with Backup

ORLANDO, Florida — Former WWE Senior Director Tommy Carlucci speculated that Roman Reigns may not return from his hiatus alone. Reigns, who has been absent since WrestleMania 41, faced betrayal from his former advisor, Paul Heyman, who aligned with Seth Rollins during the event.
After Reigns was attacked by Rollins and Bron Breakker on the subsequent episode of RAW, he has not been seen on WWE programming. Reports also indicate that TKO, WWE’s parent company, is reevaluating its talent budget and that Reigns might be a target for renegotiation due to his part-time schedule.
Discussing the potential developments, Carlucci suggested, “I think it’s going to go for a while with this whole Wiseman thing. And maybe Roman Reigns coming back is going to bring some boys with him and start with The Wiseman.” Carlucci’s comments reflect the unpredictable direction of WWE storylines and the interest in Reigns’ eventual return.
Recent changes in WWE’s roster, including the release of superstars like Carlito and Sonya Deville, stem from TKO’s efforts to manage expenses. While Reigns’ $15 million annual salary is under scrutiny, it has not been confirmed that he will leave the company.
Hugo Savinovich of Lucha Libre Online noted that while Reigns may not be released, his pay could significantly decrease. The breakdown of his earnings includes a $5 million base salary, with additional income from pay-per-views, merchandise royalties, and ticket sales.
With fans eagerly anticipating his comeback, speculation is growing that Reigns might interfere in the Money in the Bank ladder match, potentially costing Rollins the briefcase. As the wrestling world watches closely, Reigns’ return promises to be a significant moment in WWE programming.
