Brock Lesnar Randy Orton Royal Rumble 2025

STAMFORD, Conn. — WWE legend Tommy Dreamer has sparked speculation about the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble Match, predicting surprise returns for Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton during the upcoming event. The Royal Rumble, scheduled for this Saturday, is one of WWE’s most anticipated annual events, known for its surprise entrants and high-stakes drama.

Dreamer, a veteran wrestler and host of the Busted Open podcast, pointed to recent hints on WWE programming as evidence of Lesnar’s potential return. “I would say Brock [Lesnar] as well. Leaning into [Monday Night] RAW, there was another Brock reference,” Dreamer said during the podcast. He also suggested that Orton, who has been sidelined since November 2023 due to injury, could make a comeback. “I’d also say Randy [Orton],” Dreamer added.

Lesnar, known as “The Beast Incarnate,” has been absent from WWE programming since his loss to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023. His last Royal Rumble appearance in 2023 featured a memorable showdown with Gunther, though the rivalry never fully developed. Dreamer speculated that Lesnar could not only return but also win the 30-man match, setting up a potential WrestleMania 41 clash with Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Randy Orton, a 14-time world champion, has been recovering from a vicious piledriver delivered by Kevin Owens in late 2023. His return would mark a significant moment for fans, as Orton has been a cornerstone of WWE programming for over two decades.

The 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble Match already boasts a star-studded lineup, including CM Punk, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Logan Paul. However, the possibility of surprise entrants like Lesnar and Orton adds an extra layer of excitement to the event.

Dreamer’s predictions align with WWE’s history of using the Royal Rumble to reintroduce fan-favorite superstars. Whether Lesnar and Orton will appear remains unconfirmed, but the speculation has already ignited discussions among wrestling enthusiasts. As Dreamer noted, “Only time will tell.”
