Tony Bennett Retires as Virginia Basketball Coach: Reasons and Implications

Tony Bennett, the highly acclaimed head coach of the University of Virginia men’s basketball team, announced his immediate retirement on Thursday, October 18, 2024. Bennett, who is only 55 years old, cited the changing landscape of college basketball as the primary reason for his retirement.
