Top High School Football Prospects Shine at 2025 U.S. Navy All-American Bowl
SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The 2025 U.S. Navy All-American Bowl kicked off Saturday at the Alamodome, showcasing some of the nation’s top high school football prospects from the 2025 and 2026 recruiting classes. The event, which has historically been a launching pad for future NFL stars, featured over 600 underclassmen competing in drills and 1-on-1 matchups, giving college coaches a glimpse into the sport’s future.
The game, previously known as the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, has produced 594 NFL draft picks, 247 Pro Bowl selections, and 18 Heisman Trophy finalists. This year’s event highlighted standout players like Tennessee commit Douglas Sanders, the No. 6 prospect in the 2025 class, and Michigan-bound offensive lineman Kaden Babalola, who is ranked as the second-highest player in the game. Texas commit Michael Lockett, the top-ranked skill position player, also turned heads with his performance.
According to 247Sports‘ Composite rankings, Sanders is the only five-star recruit on Team East, while Babalola leads Team West alongside three other five-star prospects. Texas A&M signee Lamont Rogers, another five-star offensive lineman, rounded out the elite group of players. The event also featured uncommitted 2026 prospects, who used the platform to showcase their talents for future college programs.
Andrew Ivins, 247Sports director of scouting, praised 2026 quarterback Brandon, the No. 1-ranked prospect in his class, for his live arm and accuracy during drills. ‘Brandon has posted a 29-1 record as a starter the past two seasons and completed 77.1% of his passes for 2,814 yards and 35 touchdowns in his junior year,’ Ivins noted.
Other notable performances included wide receiver Jalen Warren, who displayed verified speed markers of 10.58 seconds in the 100-meter dash, and defensive lineman Elijah Williams, who dominated 1-on-1 reps with his strength and quickness. The event also saw rising stars like 2028 quarterback Lawrence, who was invited to the 2028 All-American Bowl after impressing scouts with his advanced mechanics and footwork.
With so much talent on display, the 2025 U.S. Navy All-American Bowl solidified its reputation as a premier showcase for the next generation of football stars. As college programs shift their focus to the 2026 recruiting cycle, the performances in San Antonio will undoubtedly shape the future of the sport.
