GREEN BAY, Wis. — Seventeen elite NFL prospects have confirmed their attendance at the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft, scheduled to take place from April 24 to 26 at the iconic Lambeau Field. Among the notable players set to showcase their talents are quarterback Cam Ward from Miami, dual-threat player Travis Hunter from Colorado, and defensive end Abdul Carter from Penn State.

The first round of the draft begins on Thursday, April 24, at 8 p.m. ET, followed by Rounds 2 and 3 on Friday, April 25, starting at 7 p.m. ET. The event wraps up with Rounds 4 to 7 on Saturday, April 26, beginning at 12 p.m. ET. This year, the NFL anticipates a record turnout of both fans and scouts, with 257 selections expected to be made across all rounds.

This year’s draft will highlight top talent from several prestigious universities. The Southeastern Conference leads the way with nine prospects, followed by the Big Ten with four, the Big 12 with two, and the Atlantic Coast and Mountain West conferences each contributing one player. Notable institutions like Alabama, Georgia, and Michigan have multiple representatives at the event, underscoring their continued dominance in college football.

Compensatory picks, awarded to teams that lose more or better compensatory free agents than they acquire, will also play a significant role in the draft process this year. A total of 35 compensatory picks are distributed among 16 franchises, impacting selections from Rounds 3 to 7.

Standard selection times are adjusted across the rounds, with 10 minutes for the first round, seven minutes for the second, and five minutes for rounds three through six, where compensatory picks will also be made.
