Toronto Raptors Practice October 24 2024

The Toronto Raptors are navigating a tumultuous start to the 2024-2025 NBA season, marked by a series of injuries that have impacted their lineup. In a recent media availability following Tuesday’s practice, Head Coach Darko Rajakovic and players Gradey Dick and Jamal Shead addressed the challenges the team is facing.

Gradey Dick, one of the team’s promising young players, spoke about his role and the team’s strategy moving forward. Dick’s contributions are crucial as the Raptors look to stabilize their performance despite the absence of key players due to injuries.

In addition to the on-court challenges, the Raptors have made recent roster adjustments. The team has signed Battle to a two-way deal, a move that reflects their effort to bolster their depth. Battle, who averaged 15.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game for Ohio State in the 2023-24 season, will split his time between the NBA and the G League.

The Raptors are set to face the Philadelphia 76ers today at 7:00 PM and the Minnesota Timberwolves tomorrow at 8:00 PM, games that will test their resilience and adaptability in the face of current roster constraints.
