Trabzonspor and Wolfsburg compete with Torino for Sevilla Striker Rafa Mir
Italian club Torino is still in the running to sign Sevilla striker Rafa Mir, but they face strong competition from Trabzonspor and Wolfsburg. The 26-year-old Spanish forward has a contract with Sevilla until June 2027, following his €16m move from Wolverhampton Wanderers. Torino has been determined in their pursuit of Mir, but it seems he remains undecided on his next destination.
Reputable transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio and Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu reported that Trabzonspor is making a significant effort to sign the striker as well. Another option for Mir’s next move is the Bundesliga, with VfL Wolfsburg expressing their interest.
This season, Rafa Mir has scored three goals and provided one assist in 22 competitive matches for Sevilla. He started his career in the Valencia youth academy and has since played for various clubs, including Wolverhampton Wanderers, Nottingham Forest, Las Palmas, and SD Huesca. Now, he faces a crucial decision regarding his next move.
In other news, Torino is also looking to negotiate a deal with Real Mallorca to sell Nemnaja Radonjic. The details of this potential transfer are yet to be revealed.
