Traffic Restrictions Announced for Tonight’s Match at Jorge González Stadium

San Salvador, El Salvador — Traffic restrictions will be implemented in the vicinity of the Jorge “Mágico” González Stadium tonight as the local team faces Pachuca in a key match. The restrictions are set to begin at noon and will stay in effect until 11 p.m., according to the Ministry of Transportation.
The Viceministerio de Transporte (VMT) informed the public that the measures are aimed at ensuring the safety and smooth flow of traffic during the sporting event. “For the purpose of the sporting event, we will install controlled traffic devices around the stadium,” the VMT announced.
The specific streets affected include the closure of one lane on 49 Avenida Sur and traffic restrictions on 6-10 Calle Poniente. Additional affected areas are 45 Avenida Sur, 4a Calle Poniente, 47 Avenida Sur, and both 6 and 8 Calle Poniente, as well as the Pasaje Flor Blanca.
With the match scheduled to kick off at 6:30 p.m., drivers are strongly encouraged to avoid the area if possible, as congestion is expected to increase as game time approaches.
