Trevor Huddleston Clinches ARCA Menards Series West Championship at Phoenix
PHOENIX, Ariz. – The ARCA Menards Series West concluded its 2025 season Saturday morning at Phoenix Raceway during the Desert Diamond Casino West Valley 100. Trevor Huddleston entered the race needing only to take the green flag to secure the championship title.
With 26 cars in the lineup, Brent Crews led practice on Friday with a top time of 27.650 seconds, reaching speeds of 130.199 mph. Following him, Leland Honeyman, Thomas Annunziata, Tristan McKee, and Taylor Reimer completed the top five.
Crews continued his momentum into qualifying, where he earned the pole position with a quick lap of 27.464 seconds at 131.081 mph. The race started just after 1:40 p.m. ET, live on FloRacing, with Crews swiftly taking the lead over McKee. He maintained that lead through the halfway break, navigating without any caution flags as McKee, Carson Brown, Connor Hall, and Honeyman trailed.
As the race resumed, Crews led the pack again. However, a caution occurred with 13 laps remaining due to Eric Johnson Jr.’s incident in Turn 2. The caution provided Taylor Reimer a free pass, while Jade Avedisian was penalized for speeding on pit road.
Crews returned to the lead for the restart with eight laps to go, holding off Hall. Driving the No. 18 Toyota, Crews, who previously won at Phoenix in the spring, ultimately claimed victory. Meanwhile, Huddleston secured his first career ARCA Menards Series West championship by finishing third, having achieved four wins, ten top-five finishes, and eleven top-ten finishes throughout the season.
The ARCA Menards series now enters its offseason. Fans can look forward to the announcement of the 2026 schedule, which will be available on SpeedwayDigest.com.
