Tri-City Events Highlights: Farmers Markets, Live Music, and Sports Festivals

On Sunday, July 14, 2024, residents of Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody have a variety of events to enjoy in the Tri-Cities.

Starting off the day, the Coquitlam Farmers Market will be bustling with fresh produce, meats, and handmade goods from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dogwood Pavilion in Coquitlam.

Meanwhile, the Port Coquitlam Sports Alliance is hosting a community festival at Gates Park and Port Coquitlam Community Centre. Activities such as rugby, karate, and cricket will be available for locals to try their hand at.

In Port Moody, music enthusiasts can head to Rocky Point Park to catch The Legendary R&B Allstars in their farewell performance at the annual Summer Sundays concerts, starting at 2 p.m.

For those in Port Coquitlam, Lions Park will be the place to be for the Music in the Park series featuring professional musicians from around the Lower Mainland. The Beauty Shop Dolls, the Jason Lane Band, and Matt Storm will be entertaining the crowd from 2 to 5 p.m.
