Tulane Football Earns Top Honors in American Conference
IRVING, TX – The No. 24 Tulane football team received recognition from the American Conference on Nov. 24, highlighting two standout players following their recent victory against Temple.
Redshirt freshman kicker, , was named the league’s Special Teams Player of the Week for the third time this season after scoring 17 points in a 37-13 win over Temple. During the game, he made all five of his field goal attempts from distances of 50, 36, 38, 42, and 52 yards, tying the Tulane school record. His 52-yarder is also among the longest in school history.
With a season record of 20-for-21 on field goals, leads the American Conference with an average of 1.82 field goals per game. He holds the highest field goal percentage in the league at 95.2%, ranking fifth nationally. His 93 points this season are the most among kickers in the conference.
Additionally, redshirt senior quarterback earned a spot on the Weekly Honor Roll after contributing to the win with three touchdowns—two passing and one rushing—along with 231 yards through the air. He matched a school record with 12 rushing touchdowns for the season.
This recognition gives Tulane 14 awards from the American Conference this season, indicative of the team’s strong performance throughout 2025.
Tulane’s football team boasts a 9-2 record this season, including a 6-1 mark in conference play, marking a significant achievement. The team has won six or more conference games in a season for only the sixth time in Tulane’s history.
The Green Wave’s success follows back-to-back bowl appearances, and they have a notable 41-12 record over the last four seasons under head coach . The team looks forward to its upcoming matchup against Charlotte, scheduled for Nov. 29 at Yulman Stadium.
