Tyler Higbee’s Injury Status Uncertain Ahead of Rams vs. Jaguars Game

LOS ANGELES, California — Tyler Higbee, tight end for the Los Angeles Rams, is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars as he struggles with a hip injury. Higbee did not practice this week, and his game status remains unclear, according to the team’s latest injury report.
During the current NFL season, Higbee has recorded 10 receptions for 102 yards and one touchdown. He is averaging 20.4 receiving yards per game. After missing Week 5 due to his hip injury, he made a strong comeback in Week 6, catching four passes for 40 yards and a touchdown against the Baltimore Ravens.
Rams head coach Sean McVay praised Higbee’s leadership and talent during the week. “He’s a special and a rare human,” McVay said, highlighting Higbee’s exceptional ability to connect with teammates. “He has just an incredible awareness, and he loves the game.”
McVay expressed his appreciation for Higbee’s contributions during games, noting, “He picked up in terms of that positive impact where he left off and he feels like he’s playing fresh. I thought he played his most complete game yesterday.”
Higbee’s season took a toll last year when he sustained an ACL tear that kept him sidelined for most of 2024. Although he had a slow start to the 2025 season, he has recently shown improvement, becoming a key player for the Rams once again.
